If you search for TSheets pricing, you won't find a TSheets plan any more. Intuit bought TSheets in 2017 and later renamed it QuickBooks Time, and tsheets.com now sends you to the QuickBooks site.
It is the same timesheet app underneath. But it is now sold and priced as part of QuickBooks, and the price has gone up.
What TSheets (QuickBooks Time) costs in 2026
QuickBooks Time charges a monthly base fee plus a fee per user. Since July 2026, Premium is $20 base + $10 per user a month, and Elite is $40 base + $12 per user a month.
| Team size | Premium | Elite | Premium, per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 people | $70/mo | $100/mo | $14.00 |
| 10 people | $120/mo | $160/mo | $12.00 |
| 25 people | $270/mo | $340/mo | $10.80 |
| 50 people | $520/mo | $640/mo | $10.40 |
The base fee is why small teams pay the most per head. A five-person firm on Premium pays $14 per person, before any QuickBooks accounting or payroll subscription. Our QuickBooks Time pricing breakdown goes through the math in more detail.
When it is still the right choice
- You run payroll in QuickBooks. Hours flow into QuickBooks payroll with no export step. Nothing else does that as natively, and for some firms that alone justifies the price.
- You need GPS and geofencing. Elite verifies where field crews clock in. If location proof matters to you, that is a real feature, not an upsell.
TSheets alternatives, by what you need
| Tool | Price per user, monthly | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Jibble | Free; paid $1.99-$7.99 | Clock-in and attendance for hourly and field teams |
| Clockify | Free up to 5 users; paid $3.99-$12.99 | Cheap, broad time tracking |
| Toggl Track | Free up to 5 users; $9-$20 | Timers and personal time tracking |
| Harvest | $11-$14 | Agencies billing hours and expenses |
| Temporic | $4.99, or $3.99 billed yearly | Weekly timesheets with approvals, time off, payroll files and invoicing |
Where Temporic fits
Most firms that search for TSheets are not after a timer. They want everyone's week in, a manager to approve it, time off in the same place, and clean hours for payroll and client invoices.
That is what Temporic is built for. It is one plan at $4.99 per user a month with no base fee, so the 10-person team above pays $49.90 a month instead of $120. In practice:
- Only approved weeks reach payroll. You download a payroll file that Gusto or ADP RUN imports, or a plain CSV for any other provider.
- Approved billable hours become an invoice you email from Temporic. Reminders go out on their own, and your client can pay by card through your own Stripe account.
- Your accountant or bookkeeper joins free. They see which weeks are approved and, if you allow it, run payroll and send invoices.
Temporic has no QuickBooks sync and no GPS clock-in. If you need either, stay on QuickBooks Time. If you don't, compare the two side by side on Temporic vs QuickBooks Time.
