QuickBooks Time (the former TSheets) prices differently from most time trackers: a monthly base fee plus a per-user fee. As of mid-2026, Premium is $20 base + $10 per user per month, and Elite is $40 base + $12 per user per month. The base fee is what makes small-team math worse than the headline suggests.

Per head, a 10-person Premium team pays an effective $12/user; at 50 it settles toward $10.40. The base fee quietly taxes exactly the firms QuickBooks Time is marketed to - small ones.
When it's worth it anyway
Two honest cases. First: your books are in QuickBooks and you want hours flowing into QuickBooks payroll with no export step - the integration is the product, and nothing else does it as natively. Second: Elite's GPS and geofencing, if you run crews whose location genuinely needs verifying.
When it isn't
If what you actually use is timesheets, approvals and PTO - and payroll happens from an exported report either way - you're paying the integration premium without the integration benefit.
