How to log time, get weeks approved, run payroll and invoice clients in Temporic. Pick a topic below.
Every week of hours is reviewed once it ends. Approved weeks are what payroll pays and what you can invoice, so Approvals is where a week becomes final. Time off requests are reviewed here too.
Who this is for: Managers, who review their direct reports, and admins, who review everyone and lock weeks for payroll.
The week in progress is only counted at the top of the page. It shows up for review once it ends.
Lock approved weeks before you run payroll, so nothing changes by accident. Lock one week from its row, or every approved week of a month with Lock all on Reports → Month-end.
Reopen an approved or locked week when it needs a correction. It goes back to the employee (or you can correct it for them), then comes back for approval. If payroll for that period was already exported, Temporic tells you the approved hours changed. See .
Choose the Time off tab on Approvals and open a request. You see the dates, the hours per day and the person's remaining balance. Click Approve request or Deny request. Approved time off appears on their timesheet by itself.
In Settings → Workspace, Require employee confirmation before approval is off by default: an ended week with hours is ready for review on its own. Turn it on if you want each person to click Confirm week first. Either way, the row shows how a week became ready, such as "Ready automatically" or "Confirmed by employee".
