How to log time, get weeks approved, run payroll and invoice clients in Temporic. Pick a topic below.

Your weekly timesheet

Your timesheet is one week, Monday to Sunday. This page covers the three views, how a week gets finished and reviewed, what each status means, and how to export your hours.

Who this is for: Everyone. Managers can open a teammate's timesheet from the name picker at the top.

Three ways to see the week

Grid
Projects as rows, days as columns. The fastest way to type hours.
Table
Every entry as a list with its description. Best for checking notes.
Calendar
The month with daily totals. Best for spotting gaps.

Switch views with the Grid, Table and Calendar buttons at the top of the page. Above the grid you see the week's total, its status and the next step. Use the arrows and Today to move between weeks.

Finish your week

  1. 1.Check that every workday has hours and that each entry has the right project.
  2. 2.If your workspace asks you to confirm weeks, click Confirm week once the week has ended. Temporic warns you about anything that looks missing, such as a workday with no hours, before it sends the week.
  3. 3.If it doesn't, you don't need to do anything: an ended week with hours is ready for review on its own.

Take back to edit

Confirmed a week and then spotted a mistake? While it is still Waiting for review, open the ⋯ menu and choose Take back to edit. The week goes back to In progress; fix it and confirm it again. Once someone has approved it, ask your manager or an admin instead.

What each status means

In progress
The week is open. Add and change hours freely.
Waiting for review
The week is with your manager. If you confirmed it and nobody has reviewed it yet, you can take it back to edit.
Returned
Your manager sent it back with a reason, which you also get by email. Fix it and confirm it again.
Approved
Your manager accepted it. Only an admin can reopen it.
Locked
An admin locked it for payroll. Only an admin can reopen it.
Reopened
An admin reopened an approved or locked week so it can be corrected. Once it is fixed, it goes back for review.

Export your hours

Open the ⋯ menu and choose Export this week. Pick a range (This week, Last 7 days, This month or your own dates) and a format:

  • Excel: an hours summary and every entry, grouped by date.
  • CSV: one row per entry, for any spreadsheet.
  • PDF: a printable copy for your records.

Good to know

  • Temporic doesn't set a deadline. Your workspace may keep its own close schedule; your manager follows up on ended weeks that still need attention, and you may get a reminder email.
  • A week with no hours can't be approved until a manager records why, using Confirm no hours. See .
  • Payroll counts only approved and locked weeks, so a week that is still waiting isn't paid until it's approved.
  • Time off and sick time on your timesheet come from approved requests. Change them on the page.
